Problem is with Amazon Prime. I have Prime and purchased the option for no ads.
Program windows are maximized, movie set to full screen. The problem occurs with the internal browser and with Edge. It has occurred with two movies, "End Times" and "The Beyond". I did not try any other movies.
Prime is not recording as expected, possibly due to the stream from Amazon. The movies I captured began at one resolution and partially into the movie the stream switched to a different resolution. When the resolution change occurred, Audials stopped the clip in progress and began a new clip at the new resolution. This resulted in two clips for the movie, instead of a single video with the entire movie.
End Times

The movie began streaming at 1920x816 and ran at that resolution for 05:50. The stream then switched to 1088x464 and completed 1:45:15 at that resolution.
The Beyond
https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/0JCKTD4GWTQ99LUJR3ER1Q3PJ8/ref=atv_plr_detail_play
The movie began streaming at 1920x1080 and ran at that resolution for 01:04:34. The stream then switched to 960x540 and completed 27:10 at that resolution.
Thank you,
Charlie
EDIT 3-21 Now having the same issue with Peacock.
EDIT 4-12 Thanks for the comments and a reply from Audials support. After reading the comments and doing some more research, I think it probably is due to network load at server end. Hulu servers must have better capacity, they consistently stream 1280x720. Amazon and Peacock almost always change resolution during the stream. I did some experiments, and it looks like Amazon and Peacock even start with different initial resolutions depending on the time of day (amount of network traffic?). When I get streams that change resolution, I use Handbrake to massage the two clips to a matching resolution and then combining them in Premier Elements to get a single movie. It is a PITA to have to do that, but it works and sometimes the movie is only available from Amazon or Peacock.

Sounds like an internet issue. I know it records at best quality possible, but sometimes the quality changes based on internet speed available. Also do you have it set to not automatically start a new recording in your Amazon account settings. If you want it to fully record and not just go to the next thing Amazon wants to show you it is best. Particularly true with series recordings.
I'm a user, not with tech support. Hope it helps

Audials Movie 2025 is splitting Amazon Prime Video recordings into multiple clips when the stream resolution changes, even with an ad-free subscription, occurring in both the internal browser and Edge. This likely stems from how Audials handles dynamic resolution shifts or potential DRM interactions. Try restarting, checking Audials recording settings for handling stream changes, attempting to record at a fixed resolution (if possible), monitoring network activity, testing other streaming services, and crucially, contacting Audials support with detailed information about your setup and the issue. Checking Audials forums might also provide insights.
