AUDIALS MUSIC 2025 / Normalize audio
The adjustable option "Automatically normalize audio level after recording (-85 - 100 dB)" has no effect.
My recordings from Tidal are usually too loud and have clipping.
How can I set the recording level correctly?

Hello KäpDoN,
we have tested the normalize audio option and it worked. We would like to check your issue and help you further. Because we need more details, we have contacted you via Email.
Have a nice day!

Hello each other, thank you for your efforts to solve the normalization problem on my PC.
My problem is easily explained: Many audio recordings are a little too loud and the peaks of the waveform touch the clipping area.
In the “Audials Music 2025” program, you can normalize the level for recording
--> Options / Music-Streaming recording / audio files (-85-100db).
I basically understood this setting to mean that by presetting the normalization level I can influence the volume of the recording to achieve a desired recording level.

TEST:
As an attempt with «Audials Music 2025» I recorded the same track with three different Normalization settings.
(Note: After setting the normalization value in the options menu, I had always restarted the application so that the setting was really taken over.)
BASICS:
Streaming service: Tidal Premium
Selected track: Shiva Shidapu - Power of Celtic (Sesto Sento vs. Static Movement Remix)
Quality: 48000Hz / 16Bit
Format: FLAC (5)
TEST RECORDINGS WITH «AUDIALS MUSIC 2025»:
1x with the smallest setting -85db (minimum value)
1x with an average setting -90dB
1x with -94db (maximum value)
RESULT OF THE ANALYSIS:
All three recordings show the exact same recording level from -8.12dB - regardless of the set level!? This value is too loud: the recording distorts a little. The tips of the waveform touch the clipping area. So I can't use the recordings.
The only difference that I measure in the three different recordings is the background noise. This becomes quieter the deeper I put the normalization value. This at least proves that changing the default is technically.
Can you also adjust the basic volume with the Tidal app?
After a lot of attempts and tinkering, I don't know what to do at the moment. If someone has an idea of how to get the recording level under control, I take all the advice thankfully!
