Audials starts late when TV episode starts with black screen

Could someone help:

I have experience (when recording NYPD Blue) that Audials is skipping the first few seconds of the episode intro.  For example when some of the episodes start in Season 1, there is a long black screen with music and then the episode intro.  That is being missed and the recording actually starts when the show starts. 

Is there a setting to make Audials record right away when the music and intro starts?

Note:  Audials rocks and has been working great over all.  Very Impressed with this software.

  Hi
  have you already tried to do the recording using the manual screen recording method? that way would be the only way for such cases

  OH OK, I will give it a try.  I have been letting the program just auto detect and record over night.  But I will give that a try.  I appreciate your information, at least I now know I'm not doing missing some setting etc.
