Is it possible to force a minimum resolution?

If I force 1080p, then the recording is too choppy. If I turn that off, it starts recording in 720, but then decided the CPU is too overloaded and drops down to 540. I have a feeling that the chop wouldn't be all that bad on 720. Is there a way to force Audials One to use a minimum resolution?
