How do I record sound on a zoom meeting?
Every time I use audials to record a zoom meeting I get the video but without any sound. How do I set up the program to record both video and audio from zoom? It used to work prior to getting Windows 11 updated in my commputer.

Hello,
thank you very much for your request.
Please note that the recording in Audials should be started using the Zoom hint button from Video Streaming view, before start of Zoom app, Audials will capture only the main window content.
A standard zoom meeting is fully interactive and allows all participants to see, speak, hear and share the screen. A zoom webinar is a view-only platform where participants cannot see each other and the host cannot see participants. If Audials does not recognize the sound then you cannot record a zoom webinar, Audials is not suitable for recording webinars. (Currently - meetings only)

To ensure that Audials records both video and audio from Zoom meetings, you can try the following steps:
Check your audio settings in Zoom: Make sure that your microphone and speakers are properly configured in the Zoom audio settings.
Adjust Audials audio settings: Open Audials and go to the settings menu. Under the audio tab, select the option to record system audio.
Update Audials: Check if there is an update available for Audials and install it if necessary, as newer versions may be better optimized for recording audio and video from Zoom meetings.
Check Windows 11 audio settings: Ensure that the audio settings in Windows 11 are properly configured, and that Audials is set to record audio from the correct source. My Sanford Chart Login

The only catch with QuickTime Player is that it records the screen and audio from a mic, not built-in audio. In the past, when I realized that 15 minutes before I needed a recording with 'internal audio', I took an audio male-male cable and went from headphone jack to microphone and it worked fine. If you wanted to avoid that, install the SoundFlower sound driver. Set its input as the internal audio and have QuickTime record from the SoundFlower mic. But seriously, that cable worked a treat without having to install and change outputs.
