Spotify to WAV misses all ID3 Tags & Artwork
I have just purchased Audials One 2021 today
I spent today saving some of my spotify playlists tunes into WAV for use with with my pioneer decks/rekordbox
However whilst the files appear to save ok and within Audials i can see all the track information ID3 tags and artwork when i choose properties & tags for the files, none of this information appears to be saved in the actual WAV files themselves.
Browsing the files in Windows explorer or mp3tag it shows all the tags as empty and on importing to rekordbox again all the tag information is missing.
However if I save the file as a mp3/aiff/flac from Spotify then this data is present in the files.
Obviously an issue with saving to WAV

The wav file format was initially not specified to store ID3-tags.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAVThough there is an option to store the info in extra chunks, most players cannot recognize this. I assume, Audials stores plain wav files without tag chunk. The info you see in audials itself is from the audials media database on your computer. Cover and tags were retrieved from internet while recording.
If you want to work with a lossless format, I recommend FLAC. The files are smaller and the format supports tagging.

Unfortunately I can't use flac as the my pioneer decks don't support flac directly (would have to play via laptop which I don't want to do). And I don't want to save in mp3 as its already streamed in mp3 in spotify so I'm guessing saving in mp3 again will further reduce the quality
Looks like I'll have to opt for aiff as a lossless format instead which is disappointing
