Sh*t - I had it working yesterday and now I can't get it to work today - can someone give me a list of actions - starting at open xxx browser and audials one - to what and how from there - until click on "youtube" or "youtube music" etc. - I can get it to download "live" music as it is playing but not fast youtube music. Hope this makes some sort of sense!

    Hy nonowt,

You can also copy the URL-Link from Youtube and to paste it in the URL Section from Music Streaming feature in Audials.

You can find more details here:

Or you can contact us by Email : support@audials.com

Frustrating to say the least! Sometimes it work and most times it doesn't. Quick download only ever works with music.YouTube.com and never works with YouTube.com. Tried audible first and then music.YouTube.com and then the other way round. Tried clearing all the cache's but still no joy. Does this program actually work or have I been sold a dud? HELP PLEASE!

    Hi nonowt,

    Yes is should work.

Please make sure that you use Audials as an admin. Under Audials Options > General Troubleshooting view > manage and run driver installation. If necessary restart your system.

    https://support.audials.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015927679-Troubleshooting-Drivers-help-for-all-driver-related-issues-

You could try to copy the Youtube URL from browser and paste it into Audials > Video Streaming view... will it work? if not which is the behavior you get there? could you provide us the URL of Youtube video you tried and also a screenshot illustrating the problem per Email at     support@audials.com

    Thanks !

Two years since the original problem reported, downloading videos from Youtube using the Video interface in Audials is STILL not working. It does work if the Music Streaming interface in Audials is used.

I just wasted two hours trying to get the Video Streaming interface to work with YouTube videos - fyi for other users, as of Aug of 2022 it doesn't.

    Hi,

All I can say is it has worked for me since I did this report.

Video streaming bring up the Youtube link.

Clicking this brings up Youtube which I search in the normal way.

Clicking on the required video starts the video and then (sometimes after a wait) a download button appears at the top.

Clicking download starts the download (sometimes after a wait) and given time the download finishes.

Not sure what more I can tell you as I have not had a problem since but contact Audials helpline as they have been very helpful to me in the past.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the process that you described many times - when using the Audials Video Streaming interface, it worked exactly once, and since then, the download link never appears no matter how long I wait. Fortunately, it does work as described when the Music Streaming interface is used, so that's a work around. Unfortunate that I had to spend hours to find this 'solution'.

I have also tried the troubleshooting steps on the Audials FAQ web page for this topic., which include restarting Audials, etc.

Fyi for others - it looks like rebooting the PC is the secret sauce (as crazy as that seems). Restarting Audials alone is not enough to cure the problem. I'm not sure why, but after a PC restart, the Audials Video Recording interface has started working for YouTube videos again. Fyi fwiw.
