Recording streaming video with Audials 2021 from regular websites (not Netflix)

I am considering upgrading to Audials 2021 from Audials 2018. I mainly use it to record streaming videos from non-branded sites. Meaning not Netflix, Hulu, Youtube etc., but on regular websites with embedded streaming videos. With Audials 2018, none of the automatic recording features work. I have to manually go the web browser and start the video, play it from start to finish on full screen. It is exactly like screen recording. Is the process any better for those videos with Audials 2021?
