Replying to my own topic for reference for anyone else  - I am uncertain what caused the recordings to not separate, or why it is fixed now, however closing Audials and re-opening it and then also closing my browser then re-opening it appears to have fixed the separation issue for now.

I tested this by beginning an episode of a show in the last minute to observe its behavior when the next episode queued up.

I will reply and ask for help again if this changes.

I have the same issue.  Unfortunately restarting the browser and the software does nothing for me.  I have tried Chrome and Firefox with the same result, just one large file of multiple series.

I am having that problem to. What I have come to realize is that some sites actually load the next episode so fast that it doesn't detect the end of the previous episode and will just keep recording non stop .Hulu premium for example has no commercials or pause it goes from credits to the beginning of the next episode. Some streaming services had a brief pause before they load up the next episode which is enough for the software to detect the end of that episode and start another recording. If there was a way to delay the next video by a few seconds it would definitely help this issue.

I agree. That would be a nice feature to force Audials to detect the next movie or tv episode rather than just merging them in the same file.
