limited audio recording kbit/s

Hi,

 

I've the last version of Audials one. It is seems that if I select "Keep original audio quality" for the audio recording (I0ve tried the AAC and the default WMF format), the new audio file has just mazimum 200 kbit/s instead of the original streaming quality. I've tried with high quality audio source (HIFI Streaming 1411 kbit/s and local audio file samples at 320kbit/s) but the results don't change.

In my computer's setting everything seems ok.

Are you experiencing the same problem?

  Hello donomark, please try to choose an 320 kbit/s profile or try to customize one for 320.

  As I always say: "Keep original audio quality" is not working on recording streams, Audials cannot find out what bitrate the original stream is – so it uses defaults. Audials, please remove this confusing setting.

  @donomark, think about using FLAC, and avoid WMF format ;-)

  thank you all for your replies.

  I got the point.

  I was only concerned that the Audials or my PC was not correctly streaming the audio and so also recording at 320 kbit/s or more could not be useful. I will use another recording setting.
