    Shortly after I posted here 8 months ago I ended up resolving it by fully uninstalling every version of Audials on my computer (2016-2023) (with reboots) and then fully removing Itunes.  I have Win10 Pro and Win11 Pro computers with same issue.  After everything was cleanly removed I installed Audials 2023 and a fresh install of Itunes.  This resolved my problem and everything has worked fine since.  I can't confirm that all of that is necessary as I think it's related to Itunes but I got tired of trying every other option I could think of or find online and it worked so I'm good.  Good luck!

    PS....after uninstalls make sure the driver(s) no longer exist in Device Manager before installing fresh.

    Did anyone get this resolved? I've now tried it with Audials 2020, 2021 and 2022 both before and after updating them and I get the same problem over and over.  I too own all the licenses so I figured one would work.  I've never had this problem before though I haven't done this in over a year now so I'm wondering if something has changed since then, even though I'm trying several different versions.

    I have uninstalled and then have re-installed this driver three times now and it still will not allow me to do a screen recording. It keeps asking to restart this computer.

    I have tried this on both Audials 2019 and Audials 2021 since i have a license for both version.

    This is installed on a new system with a clean install of windows 10 21h2. With all updates for windows done. 

     

    Please advise.

    O.K. As I promised, trying to inform you about results. Unfortunately, my PC probably dislike it. Today I have tried to update/install a new pack of Audials 2024 and even when I am Administrator and have relatively high speed of Internet connection almost 100-2000MBps it is showing me error - Firewall se up. Probably due to VPN that I am using as usual? Ufff. I will be in communication just via e-mail. I will not write more to my case onto this Forum page. In any case do you know somebody the shortage link here, that I can check it later on? Thanks. PD

    I have a similar problem as 'dedwards1960' when recording audio streaming. (Video streaming recording is not a problem)
    Even after uninstalling all the drivers and reinstalling them, the message to reboot the computer still appears.
    I am using audials 2023, but the same problem continues regardless of the latest version, old version, windows 10 or 11.
    How can i solve this problem?

    Dear, dears. Firstly apologize me. You are right. Problem of mine is probably rather specific that on my PC I have got several (about 5-7) antivirus programmes for various safety and other purposes. Temporarily (just now during last weekend) due problems with the Audials programmes compatibility trying to solve it, I even have tried to uninstal all antivirus programmes (leting just Windows 11 Pro Defender/ its last Insider Progr. actualization on) and unfortunatelly it resulted that problems remain. I have to solve the problem with NORTON, I will step by step reinstall my antivirus programmes back on my PC (NORTON e.g. dislike that I uninstall it and I have to contact provider of it tomorrow and/or today later on, I am not capable to install now its bundle patch). Maybe that it could to some extent deal with my conflict, I am not so sure, even when I used very detailed uninstalling of it (besides of Windows capabilities I am also using several specialized approved programmes). Some of the antivirus programmes are incorporated into e.g. Edge (esp. NORTON) hence, some traces of it remain, it can probably cause problems. In any case I can confirm that you are right main problem is probably that some programmes e.g. AVAST Premium are in discordance with your SW even when I put your AUDIALS 2023/2024 (whole folder of Audials - later on I will it seems to me just subjectivelly that solution could be to put also the Virtual Sound Plugin into the overall directory of Audials to be exceptional), I will also test it during this week, as you are recommending to put it into antivirus programmes as an exceptional it can/should finally help. We will see I will be testing it and I will let you know on this Friday as latest. I am sure that in general your programme is really great, uncommon behaviour on my PC is probably caused that I am installing too much of various programmes (about 200- 300) e.g. ADOBE more than 40 applications, but for video recording I have about 50 various applications incl. AI modules incorporated (e.g. STUDIO) just as a hobbyist. I am sure that my problem will be solved in comming future. I am also sorry that I writte my last recommendation maybe too strictly to you. Your programme belong to the best I ever have seen. Finally, I do not think that it is problem of your SW, but mainly my PC overloading with SWs. I am sure that what you are recommending (to put Audials as exception into antivirus programmes) should work for mostly of your so brilliant SW users. I wish to all of us, to use it fully and without any constraints. Good luck. Keep in touch.     After plenty of months, facing the same problem, it is clear enough, that SW is not compatible with various antivirus programs; furthermore, it is not prepared to deal with new actualizations of Windows 11 Pro. It is until now unclear to me why there is such a strict way to do the notice of Audials Sound Capturing driver check/installation/set up? Developers of the SW should provide us as clients with another really updated version that will not cause again and again the same situation that is blocking opening of the application and its proper use. They can probably even use AI to help them.  It is a shame that the incredibly well-designed SW already took up so many of my hours.
