Setting up Netflix
Set up your video website to achieve maximum recording quality and to avoid recording problems.
Step-by-Step: Setting up Netflix
- If available, set up automatic playback of next video items according to your use case.
- Open your Netflix account settings.
- Scroll down to My profile, and click Playback settings.
- Clear or Select the checkbox Play next episode automatically according to your needs.

- Choose the best playback quality that doesn't cause performance issues.
- Open your Netflix account, scroll down to My profile, and click Playback settings.
- Under Data Usage per Screen, select High.
Note: If you experience issues like skips or stuttering recordings, choose a lower quality setting.
Recording a video from Netflix
Audials Video Streaming offers a quickstart button and in-place instructions to guide you through the necessary steps to record a video from Netflix.
Step-by-Step: Recording a video from Netflix
- In the navigation, click Video Streaming.
- Click Netflix.
- Follow the instructions given by the recording tool displays.
Results
The recording finishes as soon as Audials indicates so, and/or shortly after the video has finished playing.
All detected videos are listed in the Video Streaming view and, depending on the recording tool and your settings, automatically saved on your computer and listed in the Player after a while.
Recording multiple videos from Netflix in one go
Set up your video site to play back several videos in a row, and Audials automatically saves them as individual files. For example, record a full season of a TV series from Netflix.
Before you begin
Set up your video site to automatically play next video items.
- Follow the steps 1-3 described above.
- Select the checkbox Play next episode automatically.
Results
Audials detects and records each video that your video site plays back.
All detected videos are listed in the Video Streaming view and, depending on the recording tool and your settings, automatically saved on your computer and listed in the Player after a while.
