Hundreds of Internet radio stations change their streaming address and metadata, or even stop streaming entirely, every day.
Our worldwide station scanner scans for such changes, 24-7. We then provide regular station database updates, roughly every two to three weeks. Your app always loads the latest database on startup. No reinstall required.
Also and every day, countless stations experience temporary problems and are back to normal, hours or days later.
So in many cases, all you need to have is a little (sometimes a little more) patience.
It is likely that your favorite radio works again, soon. But, what if it's not?
Reporting streaming address changes
When you hear an audio message on a radio stream telling about an upcoming or recently occurred streaming address change, please send us a request with the station name and the new streaming address.
We will update the streaming address in our database, with the next database update.
Adding new and missing stations
To add a station to our database, a streaming URL or link to a PLS or M3U file is required.
Our apps all offer a feature to add missing stations, manually. You can find that command in the app settings or main menu.
If you're a station operator or have access to all the station's metadata, please use this web form to request to add your station to our database: https://audials.com/en/contact/addstation.html
If the new station isn't included in the next station database update, the station info was either incomplete, could not be parsed, or the station isn't compatible with our system and setup, for other reasons.
