Thanks to several keen users on the store giving reviews with precise findings, we were able to identify an issue that was introduced with our last update, 6.8.559.
Am I affected?
If you are running Audials for Android version 6.8.559, and experiencing any of the following
- playing or recording stopping when the screen goes off
- playing or recording stopping certain amount of minutes (typically 10 mins)
then you are affected by this problem.
What can I do?

We are now rolling out a service update (6.8.565) on the Play Store that addresses the issue and restores compatability with energy saving modes and battery optimization. It will still take a few days until the update has been delivered to the very last user. If you don't feel like waiting, please consider to join the beta for an immediate update. Info see below.

We have released an emergency update on our beta channel that addresses the issue and restores compatability with energy saving modes and battery optimization. Please consider to join our beta to receive the update. If all goes well with the beta, the update will very soon be available on the App Store as well.
We suggest to switch off energy saving mode and battery optimization, or exclude Audials from the list of optimized apps.
Meanwhile, we are working on a solution and we will release an emergency update as soon as possible.

Background information
Changes to the Audials app which help to avoid hangs (ANRs) don't work together with battery optimization and energy saving modes.

I'm using audials mostly on my smartphone or tablet for listening to the radio. After last update the audio flow is continously interrupted, in particular on my Galaxy tab s2 it is impossible to listen to the radio. Please adjust the problem, I cannot stay without audials.
@Fiore53: Not knowing whether you are affected by the problem described in the article above, or not - please be advised to hang in until our update 6.8.565 has been rolled out to your device. Once you've got this update, please consider to send us a support requests, should your problems persist. We'll then try to find out what's causing your issues.
The issue is still there with Audials v. 6.8.565.2.

I did exclude audials for batery optimisation
I'm a dutch user (in case this matters for the playstore)
Even with an app that prevents the screen from going to sleep, it still happens

Habe heute Audials One 2019 (#300057984) gekauft man hat mir die Licens gesendet mit dieser Nummer
kann ich ncht das Programm ( activation) nicht ereichen.
Die Licens mehrmals eingegeben jedes mail fand keine activation ereicht.,es hat den Anschein die Nummern sind
