    Me three.  I been fighting with this all day,  I only now found out that it won't work.  The thing is, this is what I bought Audials for in the first place.

    Me too and I really need it fixed soon.  How long will it take?  How about posting a link to a version Itunes that will work with it??

    Looks like 25 days with no fix. The only reason I bought Audials.

    I just tried to download an older version of iTunes. They only have the 10.3 64bit version available for windows. It is not compatible with Windows 7 and will give an error message that the download failed. 

    Come on Audials lets get this fixed! an update would be nice!

    Same problem for me.  The harddrives fills quickly with junk files in C:\ProgramData\RapidSolution\Audials_2018\VCD.

    Update 2018-02-21

    The problem has not yet been fixed. The good news is that we now have a pretty clear idea of what's going wrong, and what to do to fix it.

    The development team works hard on the solution every day. We are fully aware that you may find it unreasonable if we now ask you to have even more patience. Yet there is nothing further we can do to speed up the solution, at the moment.

    I, too, am unable to convert audiobooks using Audials/iTunes.  It looks like the same symptoms you describe, except that instead of Audials looking for files from iTunes, it looks like iTunes is waiting for me to put a blank disc in the virtual CD.

    Quite disappointing, considering I just bought the updated version of the software last week, for the explicit purpose of converting audiobooks I've purchased that the vendor has chosen to lock up with DRM, preventing me from using them the way I want to.

    Everyone, I'm fortunate enough to have another computer to play on.  I found that you can download previous versions of Itunes.  Any version prior to the 12.7 version will work.  I got mine to work by using Audials 12 and Itunes 12.6.   Go here for previous versions:

    Unfortunately, a previous version of itunes does not work for me, it will not install.  Sigh....

    Just in case it helps THIS IS THE LINK where I got the previous version of iTunes that worked for me. 

    I uninstalled first, including all itunes folders that were left behind.  Then installed 12.6.  Worked immediately.

    rathat76 your link worked. I did the direct download 64bit file. Thank you.

    I did need to run the audials program as the administrator (right click on the shortcut) to get it to work.

    Update 2018-03-06

    The development team has made decent progress in the matter, and all obstacles that potentially would have prohibited a solution could be cleared.

    We are now certain that we can bring back the feature soon.

    It will still take some more days of fine-tuning the last details, testing and finally shipping the fix with an update.

    I just installed the latest iTunes and upgraded my Audials to Audials One 2018 (#300057984 and I am also having this issue.  Please let me know when a solution is available.

    Wish I'd known about this when I upgraded 2 days ago. I've spent the last 48 hours downloading iTunes (twice) and audible (twice) trying to get it to work. Will we be contacted when it is finally fixed?

    Also, why was there no mention of this problem when I upgraded?

    It's now more than 2 months since this problem was reported, and still no fix!! . Not good enough!!

    In the meantime, Im using EPUBOR' audible converter to convert my files to  MP3 now and it is fast. Is so effective, I will continue to use this program for the AA to MP3 conversion and keep audials for video/screen capture

    Greetings Audials Forum, guessing that I'm on the right thread based on this error below.  It appears when initially opening up Audials One 2017.  virtual drive is nowhere to be found.

    The last post was a month ago and we are still waiting. Come on chaps provide and update or better still the fix.

     I agree too. I am constantly getting suggestions from Audials to spend more money and upgrade again. However the only reason I use the program is to manage my audiobooks and it has not successfully done that for months. I have pretty much lost faith in this vendor.

    Well that was 6th March it is now 4th April, come on do.
