Control pc and audials video recording over Remote Desktop?

I have a high end desktop in my office, but some programs do not auto stop, movie trilogies etc just keep rolling. I wound up with 8 hours of a trilogy plus the first film over again all in one file, I guess the auto tagger could not differentiate films and split them, probably something that really doesn’t have a workaround due to the service provider.

so to the real question, is it possible to control this desktop via rdp on my iPad? I have tried and seem to get files that error out, however when I run it from the pc itself they work fine.

the only way I can get good quality is to use gpu encoding, this might be an issue. Just wondering if someone else has got a way that makes it real easy to queue up files and then stop them manually at the end from a remote source, stopping the recording when the credits roll solves this issue but I have to set timers to go in and wait 10 minutes or so with my eye on the video to kill it.
