Audials one V.10 / since today the program won´t start anymor. Program was used regularly and paid for. Why is this happening?

    Hello everyone,

    unfortunately, the problem here in your case with older Audials versions than Audials 2018 is not the server or streaming service for which our developers could provide further updates, but the Audials client version that's too old for the new Windows update which has been released lately. Since the latest Windows update, our developers no longer support the older versions of Audials, please see our article from here https://audials.com/en/service so, we as support team would kindly ask you, if you want to continue using our products, to upgrade to the latest version of Audials v2019 in order to use it properly. You could download first Audials 2019 version from our website, test it with some limitations.

    I have run audials for years. I paid for the version but haven’t upgraded for a while as happy with version running.

    today all my windows operating systems (since updating themselves yesterday) refused to run audials.

    With the same message quoted above. I tried it on windows 7, 8 and 10

    even when I changed settings on security software still refused to start audials.

    It seems that CryptoAPI is responsible for this - even though it is listed in my system as being enabled - apparently CryptoAPI blocks services if more than one certificate route exists. There are workarounds listed for this but in order to use them it is necessary to know which is the correct certificate route.

    Hi Emma,

     

    thanks for the idea. Nonetheless I don´t have a programm (or API) that is using that name "CryptoAPI" that is present on my PC.

    By researching the .dll files present in the programm audials I recognized on thing that might be strange. I found out that everytime I start up the audial.exe the following .dll files are updated in the audials (plugins/appdata) filepath:"C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\RapidSolution\Audials_2013\PluginsManager\DLLs":

    TOnline.dll

    Veoh.dll

    Vimeo.dll

    WebDAV.dll

    WebDAVPlugins-Common.dll

    SoundCloud.dll

    Spotify.dll

    Strato.dll

    Oauth.dll

    OneDrive.dll

    GoogleDrive.dll

    GooglePlay.dll

    Boost_regex-vc140-mt-1_59.dll

    Box.dll

    DailyMotion.dll

    Dropbox.dll

    GenericPluginsCommonShared.dll

     

    .. all theese .dll-Files will be updated in the folder everytime I open the Audial.exe file... even by eliminating them. The Audial software just recopies them there. Is that supposed to be that way? Normally they have nothing to do with Audials..

    Maybe there is a compromising going on and I am not aware of that. But I checked the whole PC with Norton (again) and it shold be save. At least that is what Norton told me...

     

    Now because the software just shuts back down after opening with the above mentioned message I can´t even retrieve my KEY. If not I would have just uninstalled the porgramme and reinstalled it again... but I am afraid I loose the certif that I have bought it when I am reinsalling it from scratch..

     

    I even tried to reinstall the registry I used 9 month before because I thought there was a problem with the registry. But that didn´t help either.

     

    Maybe there is another feesible solution to this problem..

    Same issue here...
    I think it's a bad solution to block running the software if there is no connect to audials server or problem with the cert.
    Please solve this!

    I am having the same problem with the same error message ("A secure internet connection to the Audials servers could not be established. Your system might be compromised. Audials will exit now.").

    I am running Windows 10 updated to 1803. I do not find the CryptoAPI on my computer. My fully registered and paid for copy of Audials was working until recently. 

    I run Norton Internet Security as my resident antimalware program and do regular checks with MalwareBytes. There is no malware found. The Norton log does not show it blocking any Internet access by Audials (or any other recent program). 

    This appears to be a problem at the Audials end. Can you respond please?

    In that case I shall no longer be using Audials since this suggests that users of older versions are being forced to update. As I only use Windows for Audials and a few legacy programs I shall also no longer be using Windows but will move entirely to Linux - no dirty tricks or holding people hostage there as with Microsoft.

    Hello emma woodrow,

    due to the ongoing changes to platforms and the technological improvements of recent years, older Audials generations can not work with portals, media services and OS that have switched to the latest technological standards. That's why our developers invest their time every year to upgrade our product to these changes.

    For versions older than Audials 2018 no more updates will be released as these versions are almost no longer supported, and therefore the developers focus on the last and next to last version.

    Because some users reported the issue, we want to investigate it, and if the fix is uncomplicate we will release an update. As soon as I receive more informations from our developers, I will post here a comment.

    In my opinion the upgrade is the best chioce you can do, because the new Audials 2019 will amaze you.

    Please discuss openly with the Support-Employee that will contact you, and tell him the disadvantage you see in the upgrade, and I am sure that together you both will find the best solution!

    I feel I should make it clear that my issue isn’t that Audials forces updates and computer upgrades but that Microsoft does. All their ‘improvements’ are built on the philosophy of ‘built in obsolescence’, market driven, not consumer driven.  Yes it is good to have software which meets changing needs as Audials does but Microsoft doesn’t give the consumer the choice of keeping older products either software or hardware.

    This was a system upgrade which it was impossible to prevent being implemented in any Windows system, no matter how the user configured their settings. Microsoft also allows users to worry about security rather than warning that this was a system change which would behave like a security hazard.

    After trying to get Audials to respond to all my reports I sent them,  I decided I was going to talk to Microsoft.  They spent hour trying to figure out what might be the problem.  and in the end.  I found out that my Windows was 

    A.  verson****3   and should have been ****9.  6 versions old.

    B. my drivers on some stuff was not up to date.  which took some time to remedy 

    But at this time I have just recorded a few programs with no problems.  on my 2017 and 2019 version of Audials.   

    So in-short check your hardware versions and make sure they are up-to date. and You might want to make sure your operating system is at the latest version as well.

    It gets worse when every time you try to use the software, it just completely crashes.  No rhyme or reason except a dialog box saying "what were you doing?"     "Um, using the software I paid for!"

    I've tried many things and it just doesn't work at all.  Ever since you guys had that problem where you had to turn off malware detection to get it to work, this software has just become complete garbage.

    I can't record anything with it anymore from anything reputable and it is just a complete waste of money.

    Half this forum is in German anyway and the translators won't work to translate it because all the banners are in English.  You all just not only dropped the ball but you kicked it in the gutter and can't reach it.

    Yeah, you mean like answering the box over and over again sending system logs using it?

    I've given up on this software a month or two ago when it started crashing on all my machines.... uninstalled, reinstalled.... turning off the virus scan in some temporary folder it uses....  

    This happens on all my machines where they all worked previously.

    I'm not asking you for help fixing it.... I'm just honestly not going to use it for a while..... you also spelled your support email address incorrectly.

    Dear Support-Team,

     

    So I waited for a year now. Is there a fix now for my paid program? I would like to be able to record some music again with my paid program Audials 10. There should be a fix for this by now. Unfortunately there are no channels anymore and the audials 12 program is limited in usage unless.. Yes, unless I pay again.

     

    Maybe you can help me out using the first program that works again, if I provide the support-Team my serial key, so you guys can check that the program was payed for at the time...
