Is it possible to record a video or audio stream with other applications using the sound card at the time?

Hi there

I normally have several applications running simultaneously.
Assume I would not like to miss listening to BBC World radio service news at 11:00am. So I listen, BUT then also would like to RECORD the MSNBC or ZDF live stream at the same time, so I can watch it later.

Is that possible, without getting a mix-up of audio of both streams being recorded?
With another program OnlineTV 15, I discovered trying to do that means the recorded video willl have its audio including that of everything else the sound card has running at that time.

I do not know if that's technically possible,, but I was hoping the software would be able to separately record sound from the the different streams and not mix up it up with anything else.

So I want to know if Audials 2019 or any other Audials software can record simultaneously running streams, whether one can listen to something else on the PC and be able to record a stream, at the same time.
