Video transferred to Android cellphone; says "video cannot be played"
Transferred a recorded video to cellphone (Motorola Moto G Power 2022). ### Assumed, perhaps naively, that Audials One 2023 needed device model info to CORRECTLY convert video to a USEABLE format during transfer process. ### Also did a manual format conversion via Audials console. ### BOTH of these resulted in "Unable to play video" on cellphone. ### So ... precisely WHAT format do I need (and HOW would I know which?) for video to be playable when transferred from Audials (on Windows 10 PC) to cellphone? _________ Also - PRECISELY HOW do I readily & dependably use Audials to capture/record a specific segment after opening a streaming video in browser? ### None of the methods I tried consistently provided a "Record" option in a pop-up window on top of streaming display!?! It was "hit or miss" _________________________________________
*BTW - Forced Topic selection - "Audials for Android" - does not seem particularly relevant!

Hello,
It sounds like you're facing a couple of challenges with video format compatibility and capturing segments using Audials One 2023. Let's break this down:
### 1. **Compatible Video Format for Motorola Moto G Power 2022**
For your Motorola Moto G Power 2022, common video formats that should work include:
- **MP4**: This is widely supported and should work seamlessly on most devices.
- **H.264**: If you're using this codec within an MP4 container, it’s typically compatible.
- **MPEG-4**: Another option that should be playable on your device. To ensure the correct format during the conversion process:
- When exporting the video in Audials, select **MP4** as the output format, and make sure to choose the H.264 codec if given the option.
- You can also check the device specifications on the Motorola website or user manual for supported video formats.### 2. **Using Audials to Capture/Record Specific Segments**
To capture a specific segment of a streaming video:
- **Open Audials One** and navigate to the **Streaming** section.
- Use the **Browser** within Audials to go to the streaming service and play the video.
- Look for the **“Record”** button, usually located in the Audials toolbar. If it doesn't appear, try the following:
- **Refresh the browser window** after navigating to the video.
- Ensure the video is fully loaded before looking for the recording option.
- Check for any pop-up blockers or browser settings that may interfere with the Audials interface. If you’re still having trouble, Audials has a **manual and support forum** that might provide specific instructions based on the streaming service you’re using.
Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!
Best regards,
